Default HAVING TROUBLT D16Z6 SWAP

Hey. I need some help.I just rebuilt a 1995 d16z6 and i am putting it in a 1995 Civic DX. i had the d15b7 in there. Well i came across some troubles with it and i am stuck on the wiring harnes. IT doesnt all plug in completely. there was 1 that i couldnt figure out..It is on the battery side.. it was one of the really big connectors. But i took this plastic piece out and it finally pluged in properly. I turn the ignition on and i am getting no fuel pump. So i check the relay like the haynes says and im not getting signal to it. So the relay is good but no signal. I also swappped out the ecu from the p06 to the p28. Is it possible to run a p06 ecu on a d16z6? Also if that connector that i was having trouble with is not actually connecting right... would it hurt if i hard wired the fuel pump for testing purposes to get the car running so i can get it started and break it in initially?.. Has anyone else had this wiring problem or fuel pump problem.. If you can think of anything please help.
the car ill crank from starter.. im just not getting any fuel... i am gonna check for spark here in a few min also.. any input please

ok new update.... i can jump terminals 5 and 7 on the main power relay which turns on the fuel pump, and am getting sufficient fuel pressure... but now i am not getting spark at all. I have new plugs and wires..The dizzy only plugs in one way so it has to be on right? Does the spark have anything to do with the main power relay. The relay does work i tested it to the haynes manuel. NO spark tho. engine turns over... fuel pressure availible.. no spark. Fuel pressure is there only when main relay is jumped.. am i missing somthing, possibly a connector? I did switch ecu and that had no effect.

FYI you can put the dizzy in wrong, if it is turned 180 degrees it will crank but it will be trying to spark in the completely wrong stroke. You can tell this by watching the dizzy when you crank it, it will move if it is in wrong.

This is what I had problems with my car. The #14 fuse always burnt out. If thats the case then you have a short to ground somewhere on the injector wiring if you had to do any. If you didn't then check any yellow/black wire that could be wired up wrong. Im not sure about the dizzy being turned around. I didn't think you coould do that cuz it was offset but I have heard of cases that could be it. But try this, on the dizzy plug there should be 2 white wires, switch those and try it. If you have those switched around then it wont have any spark at all. then If it doesn't work I have no idea I would have to look at it and I am in nebraska

ok.. Here is what i have come up with so far.
I was trouble shooting th Main relay connector.
I did the checks from the haynes and it the relay passed all the checks.
Trouble shooting the harness here is what i got.

Connector Ign off/on Resistance
-----------------------------------------------------------
Pin 1 Yel - white (fuse 31) 12v/12v
Pin 2 Black PG1 & 2 ECU .7v/7.7v 0.L Ohms
Pin 3 Yel - blk IGP1 ECU .7/7.7v 0.L Ohms
Pin 4 blank
Pin 5 Blk - Yel Ignition 0v/12v
Pin 6 Blu - Wht STS(oftheECM)& Fuse 18 NOTHING NOTHING
Pin 7 Yel- Grn Fuel Pump 0v/0v 1 / 1.7 ohms
Pin 8 Grn - yel Flr 1 & 2 .7/7.7v 0.L Ohms

It looks like the blue - wht wire is my problem....
when i trace the wire throught the diagram it goes to the ECM... and is labeled STS in the Haynes Manuel. I looked at the fuse 18 and it is still good, and i traced where it goes and it says it goes tot he starter.

What is STS? Is it the Starter Selenoid? and if it is would that cause the dizzy to give no spark of turn on fuel pump?

My car does crank from starter.

Battery is good.

Car ran right before it blew up...

When i turn the acc/ignition switch it does turn on guage lights and stuff like that.. But no Fuel pump.

when it is cranking i get no spark.

i have a 2 pin connector and a 8 pin connector going into the dizzy. They are connected securly and matching. All the Connectors are connected up. and it doesnt move from being in wrong...

I am betting that that blue/white stripe wire has something to do with my dizzy and main relay.. can anyone help me with this.

Dastinker8 is my aol im if you wanna talk about it to me in a live chat. or reply on here if im not there, Thanks
Brian

I Thought this was a no problem swap.. WTF...
i have a 95 Dx and i put in a 95 SI engine .. why am i haveing so much trouble

ok well i figured since the wire going to the ecu wasnt getting power...i figured it check the ecu to see if i was getting power... Which i WASNT... i pulled out a sensor and checked for voltage and got nothing. HERE the ecu is grounded through the mounts... So once i got it grounded my fuel and spark is back..... BUT it still wont start.. it acts like it wants to but wont. IT is TDC when the belt is on... and the distributor is on right... BEcause it wont bolt up when it 180 out of phase.. the cam is off center FYI.... but i tried adjusting the dizzy and still does the same thing.... Firing order is 1342 right.... and you start from the bottom and go clockwise correct... anything else you guys could think of....
