C5 givin me problems...lil help plz
Ok heres the deal...When my car is running my tach will float and as soon as it warms up it stalls.I have changed the ignitor and it only made the prob worse.Before i had done this it would run fine untill you got to about 5k and the motor would jolt or hesitate.However I could rev the motor slowly and it would be fine...jus when i jumped on the gas.I was thinking my dist is ed up?I was thinking maybe my crank angle sensor?

let the distributor killer explain! hehe or imma try anyways. i have a stupid obd2 civic.
first is the ignition coil. it will kill all spark. once that goes the rotor will be toasted and distributor cap, its not the other way around. trust me. replace all that and next thing you know your car doesn't rev all the way and it bogs, farts and shuts off. if its obd2 u will get a 92 error code because the purge can gets backed up and the readings on the ecm go nuts..
check all your grounds also, one faulty ground can make it go nuts.
i think its the ignitor. if u need one i have one with 19G miles for sale, its in pefect condition. 40 bucks shipped

cause i also have a obd2 gsr distributor for sale.

I am using a pr3 ecu becuase Im using a worked b16a head.I am getting code 1,15 and i think 4 or 14.My iacv sensor i think is shot cuz when i unplug that sensor in the bak of the maninfold nothing changes.I replaced the old ignitor with that froma d series motor and it was worse.I have a new dist coming in tmrw so I should be ok.

Could be your dis, but could be yo fuelpump to.
A friend of mine couldn't run past 4K rpm's and car jolted bogged and ----, it was like a wild horse.
and on idle it ran really rich..could smell that ---- miles away.
