Default AFC Hack Parts List

I am in the beginning stages of piecing together my homemade kit for my 1998ex (d16y. What do i need to run the hack? Im sorry if this has been covered before, if you could put a link to another thread that would be awesome. (i think the search function on this site sucks)

This is what i think i need...
DSM 440 Injectors
Resistor Box from an older honda
v/s-afc

How about injector clips, or will my stock ones work?
also, if i choose to use lucas or rc injectors will i need new clips (i know i wont need the resistor box) or will the stock ones work?

Well, the search can be very helpful, but i'd also check out the new users FAQ in the Forced Induction page. It's got a ton of info for the AFC etc.
Yeah your on the right track with the V/Safc, you'll need DSM 450cc injectors, a resistor box or someinline resistors from Radio shack, and the injector clips from the DSM would help, but i'm pretty sure you can mod the stock Honda clips to fit.
Like I said check out the new users section in FI and it will cover alot of this in more detail.

Dude, you're switching teams? Thats not cool...I mean at least play both sides of the field.

As far as the AFC hack...you seem on track...but I think Uberdata or Chrome are much better methods of acheiving a more stable boost setup.

Dont forget that the Hack advances ignition timing and you either need to buy a BTM (more $$$) or retard base timing and suffer a laggy engine in low RPM ranges

Was that aimed at me? I'm not encouraging him to go out and choose the AFC hack over some sort of ECU control. Personally I use Uberdata, but I started learning on an AFC. Theres nothing wrong with the AFC hack. It works. Yes it advances timing, and by retarding base timing you loose lower RPM power. But the AFC hack is easy to work with and understand for a beginner.
