Just bought a garrett T25 brand new.
I will be attempting to install this on my '93 SI. This isn't a Mitsu turbo it is a garrett T25. I am looking to find a way to keep my A/C because I live in Florida, the state of humitity. When I saw pics of this turbo on ebay it apears that the inlet will be on the left side now i'm hoping this will hook up to a STD manifold from an EF.
highly doubt it will clear the AC compressor, either way you mount it. Maybe if you had some type of crazy adapter plate you could get it to clear. But you are better off making a custom exhaust manifold that will support AC...
trust me, we have tried mocking up a few turbo setups with AC, and have had no luck with the STD/HF manifold.. I think we do have a user on the board that somehow rigged a RHb5 turbo with the std manifold and kept AC..

Well, fuckit the AC takes a while to start cooling down the cabin anyways. The onlyl time I really need it tho is when it is raining. I deliver pizza and when it rains the windows fog up. Other than the fogging up I can deal with it. I will be doing a compression check on my engine this week as it was fine last year but who knows. It will be a while until i install a turbo as I still need to figure out what to do for fuel management. This is a delsol, and the front of the car just screams "intercooler" I have a plan for a starion intercooler when this gets installed. Any suggestions for fuel/engine management?
You wanna know what's really bad? I've rigged up my IHI RHB5 in a way that it would indeed clear the AC with the STD manifold! What's bad is the fact that I don't use AC and it was removed from my car... lol. I had never intended to make this happen either. Maybe in the future I can add AC back.
the downpipe was a little complex, but it's all good now.
Jeff:
I plan on taking pictures of my whole turbo install once I get my digital camera back from Japan. Once it's completed and fixed up nice, do you think you could add it to the "turbo projects" page?

I am impressed with this site. I remember a couple years back I couldn't find ANY support for the D-series that every one laughs at. I just think that paying over 3 grand for a motorswap is uncalled for. I have no respect for importers that charge that much for a B-series honda. I have heard the whole "supply and demand" speech too I don't buy it. A honda in Japan is like a Toyota tercel in the US. There is, or was, a lot of engines sitting in junk yards. My freind that sells SR20DET's (red top) agrees with this. I wish I could have bought a B18C1 back in '97 when I just got my delsol but I didn't know much about cars back then. Nowadays its just plain over done and lame. Every time I go to the track or to a car meet I see some rich kids with their "swaps" and I'm like "yeah, whatever" Iv'e seen that ---- done before you kids could even drive a car. Lots of these kids get a swap or get a '99 SI and run 16's at the track, WTF is that? When I see a ZC or SOHC running 14's I give props when I see a "swap" running 16's I have to laugh.
