help with lugnuts!!!!!!
i need to get my lug nuts off bad! my tires haven't been rotated in 8k miles, and my front brakes are down to the feeler things and ------- sqeak the whole time i drive, i was so pissed last night i wanted to drive it into a wall, luckily i got home before i did :P here's the scoop, i bought the car with the rims on it, they are on with spline drive lug nuts, and i didn't get the wrench for them, and the place i bought it from doesn't have it :P any suggestions how to get them off? i don't even really care if i scratch the rims up and ----, i just need to get them off :P
here is a pic to get an idea, but they're basically sunk almost comletely in the rim, with barely any room around them, i took it to a place last night, and he told me he couldn't do it...

ive done this before. i found a standard, deep well, socket that almost fit and then hammered it on the lug nut. then i put it in a vice and beat the **** out of it to get it out. also, who manufactors the rims? is there a trademark symbol on the lug nuts, call the manfactorers (spelling). look at a few differnt websites that sell rims, look for lug nuts that look similar to yours. just a few ideas, good luck. keep us posted.

sohcrxsi: as far as looking for the lug nuts, i have found about 5 or six different keys for the same style lug nut, i guess they are all just a little different. my only option would be to order all of them that i could find and hope one fit and i could return the rest of them. and for a regular socket, like i said, there is NO room between the lug nut and rim for a reg socket

ghetto: good advice, i think i will have to do this temporarily until i can get them off.
drill a hole down the centre of the stud, and tap a left handed thread into it, screw the bolt in and keep tightening until the nut comes off
Thats the way i had to get mine off
, after i took it everywhere i knew and no-one could help.
