Default CV joints for CRX

anyone know if the cv joints on 1st gen crx's are interchangable with 2nd gen crxs. also if civic & crx's are the same...

one of mine hit the *******.

40-60 a piece.. with probably a 90 buck core..

Maybe I am wrong, but that is how much most honda 88+ axles go for.

they are like 61 for one side 75 for the other side 45-50 core...

you have to pay for the core unless you bring an axle with you. and if you bring it with you it better look pretty close to the one coming out of the box

Most places will let you go and get the axel and pay the core then when your done putting the new one in take the old on back (and I have brought them back in pieces before) and they will refund you the core. It’s like having a deposit seeing they rebuild the axels and don’t make new ones. It’s an easy fix too.. Should only take you an hour if everything goes right.

well i already talked to a small parts store guy... a old friend. he said it was $79.95 for the whole axel. all i had to do was bring my old one in and trade it... just buying the core was $105.00
