i tried to get it to fit but the wastegate will hit the block or if i turb it it will hit the radiator. i wnat to us ethe internal wastegate caus ei'm cheap. any ideas

 

Rotate the housing, or make a custom bracket... nobody said this stuff was easy

 

I am doing it and i ahve the same problem, but it's really not a problem. Just rip out your AC fan (the one it's hitting obviously) and throw it away. Alot of people have been buying autozone or pep boys "pusher" fans. Grab one, mount it on the FRONT of the radiator, and wire it backwards. Walah. Works just like your stock one, except better, and clears the turbo! NICE!

 

Did you mean in the same place as the old fan, or actually in FRONT of the radiator (on the bumper side)?

 

well in a crx it has full radiator and no ac it still hits, but i've decied to go with anotehr turbo anyhow

 

I have a T3 in my 87 Teg. It's not a CRX but the block is still the same. I had that problem too but I made a cheap bracket and moved the actuator out of the way. I had to connect a longer bolt so the actuator reaches the wastegate. Fit nicely. I sold the kit to a guy. Now he has it in his 90 civic hatch. It bolted to his motor perfectly.

 

I mean in FRONT of the radiator. Instead of pulling the air through, this one pushes. Pep boys, universal, 50$ or so. Check superhonda, do a search. Big post on it a while ago!
