Default SS autochrap manifold

Has anyone ever bought one of these and then strenthened it up buy doubleing over on the welds? It looks like it would flow really good, if the damn things wouldn't crack and die...

this topic has been beat to death :P if you're capable of welding to do that, jus make your own manifold

doubling up the welds would make it weaker, welds don't like to be doubled up.

It would probably be a good idea to have a turbo support. Don't just rely on the manifold to hold the turbo.

This small amount of extra effort will go a long way to prevent cracking (in some cases).

that`s ------- biggest piece of ----...
got a a few month ago b4 i hear about all the problems..
tried to fit it on tonight with a T3/4 in d16z, and guess what, that ---- wasn`t even angled to the right position and the compresor is hitting the block no matter how u clock it and 1/3 of the intake port is pointing to the casting behind a tanny bolt.
and since the motor`s out didn`t got a chance to check if it clears A/C....yet

If it's a t3/t4, they all hit the block . You need to shave it.

yea...i am going to grind a bit off the block to make it clear...but what about the inlet of the turbo...1/3 of it is right behind the piece whihc teh tanny bolt goes in.
