Default crx t25 - o2 housing/downpipe question

sorry if this has been covered... Ive searched and been reading up, but I havent found much info on this particular issue.

setup: d16a6, hf manifold, dsm t25 turbo

From reading Abaz's comment, the o2 housing/downpipe will not clear the cross member on the crx without cutting it up.

I was wondering how many of you actually did this? and how hard was it? Or, would it be easier buying a flange from BMC and having an exhaust shop make the downpipe tubing?

you can "Notch" the front cross member if you are comfortable with that, but the DP is going to make a very sharp bend in order to come back up since it will be sitting fairly low. Your better off buying a o2 housing flange from roadraceengineering.com or BMC and take it to a exhaust/fabrication shop to have them make you a down pipe.
