I read the artical on cutting the spring but has anyone actually used one of these AUDI Wastegates in their turbo setup?If so how does it perform and how the hell did you install the #$*@$#^ thing?!?

 

um...i know someone that is using one...he said he likes it...he played around w/ different springs though...

 

I have a tubular manifold that looks like the OBX one with a flange for an external wg but it doesnt take a #ucking rocket scientist to look at it and tell that it wont install there.Will i need to get the flange off the AUDI manifold and weld it somewhere on the dp? if someone can please explain this to me i will reward them with an aol insta hug.

 

make your own flange or let someone make one.
The stock spring is set at 1 bar. There was an post on how to mod that wastegate a long time ago about more than 6 month's ago

 

yeah i read that post....thanks anyways....bout to get it anyways and worry about it after i put in the new pistons and rods

 

I have still been looking at these wastgates on e-gay.I would really like to incorporate one of these as opposed to using my internal one.I have been doin searches on the site for the audi wastegate write up but haven't found it,if someone could please reply with a link i would greatly appreciate it.I have read it before but i would like to bookmark it.thanks

id spring for a used deltagate, you can get them pretty cheap
