Default Which ratio FMU?

I'm starting to piece together the parts I need for my daIly driven no track use D15 T3 turbo 'rex and I want to use an FMU because of the ease of install and set-up. This is my first turbo project so I'm using the K.I.S.S. principal.
I've read over the FAQs and searched around but I can't seem to find the info on how to determine what ratio FMU to use. I figured a 8:1 was OK, or is a 10:1 safer or too rich?
I'm only going to be running 6 lbs of boost so I'm not going crazy with high $$ parts this time.
Thanks for the info!

Thanks.
12:1 is on the way along with a bunch of other gear I need.
Now all I need is a Saab T3 and an IC.
