Thumbs up WOW

HMT is still here, YAAAH!!

It's only been.. oh I don't know.. hmm, about 10 years since I was active on here. This is crazy. Who's still on here back from the "good ol days" (pre 2004) ?

I only recently sold my crx to some kid in Kentucky (well, about 2 years ago). He later texted me to tell me he totaled it in the ice. I didn't respond.. I got that car when I was 15 and had it for 14 years! The turbo setup lasted the life I had it. That was such a good car! I've been riding bikes and spent most of my time on a CBR1100xx super blackbird... another awesome Honda. So just out of the blue and totally random, I find an incredible deal on a CRX here in Nashville. It was originally a 91 HF but had a b16a1 with b16 tranny (oh the gears are close in this thing), but a great find. Anyway, long story short- I sold my bike just yesterday and now I'm back in a CRX. YES!!! (No the wife won't let me have that many toys, so SOLD, fine, no problem) I stinking love this car! I picked up an LS tranny for $200 so I'm planning on swapping the final drive and 5th gear into the b16 tranny. It's ridiculously close and is somewhere around 5k rpm at 75mph. Yeah, I ain't kiddin. This is my daily driver now so.. yup, it's turbo time baby!

Anyway, just saying hey and nice to see HMT is alive and kicking strong.

I was going to come here to actually sell my turbo's and it looks like the site died? I joined pre 2004 but was a lurker/reader for a year or two before I ever posted.

Any ideas where to sell a turbo nowadays? Or is it basically ebay LoL

ebay does seem to be your best bet. Back when I did my first turbo build, it was mostly ebay stuff I used to piece together my kit. I noticed the site does seem a bit 'dead' but what's up with the 'active view' number?
