Have a B18 engine and am looking into getting a new turbo manifold. I used to have a stainless steel manifold it was not ram horn type.
I am not sure what kind you would call it other than it was a bottom mount non ram horn type of manifold.

I was wondering if anyone knows how much better a ram horn manifold really is compared to a traditional turbo tubular manifold for a B18.
If the ram horn equal length manifolds do not make that big of a difference then I will probably just stick with a regular tubular manifold since I dont wanna have to mess around with trimming my power steering bracket.

 

ram horn(equal length headers) have there advantages but there biggest advantage is consistant timing of exhaust pulses which help to spool the turbo. unless your building your engine for a lot of power dont waste your money. for low to mid boost applications, a log manifold will do just fine. i know many people making over 500hp on a 4 cylinder engine with a log manifold so to me an equal length manifold doesnt seem worth the ~1000.00 price tag.
