Default Internet Brands Acquires HomeMadeTurbo

This is to let you know that HMT has been acquired by Internetbrands.com

I haven't been active in sometime with the exception of the management side / bills side of things and haven’t really been able to enjoy the community as I have off and on. The great staff here made it easy for me to be away to deal with real life & health related drama. I have taken great pride in knowing that I was a small part in building this great community, perhaps not to the degree I wanted but none the less, I showed up.

It will be business as usual here. Internetbrands.com is known for putting the community and site first. You can look at any of their acquirement’s and you will see they don't mess with what works. They are a professional company with more bodies to assist the staff and users than I could ever imagine having here; I have always been a 1 man operation with the exception of the site volunteers. This means there will be someone always available which is something I couldn’t always make myself. Also take into consideration IB owns the software we run on (vBulletin) and is always growing and expanding their business which in many cases benefits this and many other sites in their collective.

Internetbrands brings capital, staff and marketing to really take this site to the next level. This means more options and more opportunities for our members and it means a bigger busier site for you guys!

IB Nolan will be handling all HMT related stuff now as he is taking over my admin position.

I am gracious and appreciate everything everyone has done for me with taking care of this forum. Enjoy it, have fun, its your home.

At least you did a good job of running it into the ground over the last few years. You can feel good about that.
