Does anybody here know if you can put a 2JZ-GTTE twin turbo motor in front of the 5-speed non turbo tranny? If you put a better clutch in it..of course!

 

I think so... they swap the 6speed tranny in the non-turbo model, so I guess it would fit vice versa to.

 

the engine code has only one "T". I have only seen ppl with IS300's and the NA guys do the swap with the 6spd which is not to say you cant use the 5spd as it will handle up to 450hp. Might want to check the NA Supra forums or IS300.net.

 

It's not a direct bolt up. U'd have to make an adapter plate.
