Default turbo power jeep

hey everyone im startring my first real turbo build
- jeep cherokee 4.0L
ive got a 300d Mercedes Benz diesel turbo to work with

- list of goodies coming
0-100 psi fuel pump (adjustable)
24-30 lbs injectors
boost\ vacuum gauge
d dish pistons (if needed )

i dont need to make sh### loads of power im only looking of a top of about 8 psi boost
i first need to find out how to determine how much boost i can run safely

i have about 85- 90 psi or 6 kg\cm2
with a 3.985'' diameter piston
3.414'' stroke
ill be getting my head gasket from summit racing - haven't made up my mind which on yet tho

as i said ive got a 300d Mercedes diesel turbo to work with and its about a 3.0L size motor which should be fine because i plan to cap my motor off at about 3000 or 3500 rmp
it should spool up quick under load
it never had an inter cooler but i may be adding one later space provided

i guess what i really need to know is how much boost i can run - and how to tell
what kinds of power i can expect
how to set up the right fuel pressure

thanks
