If you got good engine management.
If I had that high comp i would get somekind of standalone, or a meand to tune fuel and ignition timing.

if you have stock b16 pistons now save your money. if you have NO pistons go for it.

yeah, if your pistons are fine now, don't do it, you can make up for the higher compression you would get with a litte extra boost nevermind, i just read your other post. you may be able to order just one oe piston from a honda parts dealer, i think i saw a set of b16 pistons and rods for cheap on ebay the other day if not, just get the typer ones, but yes, the higher the compression is, the better fuel management you need

yeah I only have three pistons left thats still good, and its hard to find parts here stock or performance, I dont wanna buy $450 race pistons and used them on stock rods, and I just upgraded my turbo kit, so I would like to stay boosted, with stock internals until I can upgrade. I think I was lucky I have a blockguard, because the piston could have broke the sleave it was in.

it was flushed with the deck, but I planned to put it 3/8 inch. down so it will allow better cooling because if I sit at idle for too long IT overheats

after 10 minutes it would start overheating but I could not blame it the blockguard because sometimes my fan does not comes on, I have the az racing blockguard, like the str, with the curvesl.
