Default EG half rad in '97 LS turbos setup?

Hey,

I plan on using a civic single core half sized radio in my 1997 integra b18b turbo setup, and i am worried about overheating. I'll be using a log manifold and heard it will be a tight squeeze, if i try and keep the full sized rad. Can i play with the mounting tabs on the full sized rad to gain more clearance?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

the half radiators that you can get from the aftermarket are going to flow more coolant then the original civic radiator. they are thicker and are better designed. so you should have better cooling, thus no worries bout overheating. some kits come with the flex-lite fans as well, which offer better cooling too. i know lots of guys in my area that run theese with no issues.

good luck with your endevors,
MeTz

Unless it's a dual core do not. never reverse engineer a car unless it's winter and your having problems w/ the car not heating up. I think the shape of the teg front end has a lot to do w/ why the car has a full size radiator. So only if your going to a DC 1/2 size would I even attempt it. IMO that is.
