So i came across a deal on a brand new Garret 60-1 w/ a .60 Cold and a .50 hot, v-band ready and when it got here... i found out it was a T4, Can anyone give me more info on this turbo? Its Brand new from Garrett but i cant find the exact specs. i have searched the badge and #s but nothing.

 

it is a t4 exhaust housing? are you sure you bought this from garrett? if you did you should already know the specs since you bought it from them. there very detailed. how much was the turbo?

the first thing that throws me off is the serial number. it starts with JDM which is a knockoff. something is not right.

I am sorry to say my friend but that is a Ebay knock off using a Garrett comp housing that has been modified.
Plus they dont glue their tags on like that. They may glue them on but there is a recessed area for them to be sittin in. I have 2 sittin here beside me and one that just left yesterday none of their tags looked like that.

Also the font that says Garrett on it dont look like either of the 2 I have sitting here.
