Just wondering if we could start a list of cars to look for while going to a junkyard for cars that we could use intercoolers approximately what size they are. Even possibly just create a list of cars that have useful parts for any of us Turbo builders.

As of right now I only know of....

2000 and up 1.8 Turbo VW's - IC is about 1ft x 2ft

 

Cars to look for:

Turbocharged cars.
Supercharged cars.

Intercooler size: About so" x so" give are take. And yes, I know that I'm a smart ***. - Matt

Mitsubishi Starions and Chrysler Conquests have nice factory coolers, as well as the new Lancer Evos.

 

Go steal a front mount from one of those new SRT4's. They are ------- huge and i bet would flow nicely.

 

The srt4 ic's aparently max out at like 250 hp or something like that. My girlfreinds step bro has one and just replaced it with this ****** http://www.srtforums.com/forums/show...threadid=20514 crazy.

 

The SRT IC LOOKS HUGE, but really isn't that big, its very short and very long, but its almost impossible that it maxes out at 250Whp, b/c SRTs normally dyno at close to 250Whp from the factory..

Dodge lied, but its a good thing... Kinda.... Dodge also claims it goes 0-60 in 5.6sec, but its much faster, more like 5.1sec..

The volvo Ic is also too damn big to fit in a civic IMO, anyone wanna buy one ?? Hehe..

This makes you wonder how hard it would be to go to a Dodge Dealership and find a SRT in the back and stop by late at night to just take the IC off. I wonder how long it would take and if its possible haha

 

Just look for ic's that are all alu. they are usually ok
