Default Hello from Manchester,England

Hi boys and girls,
I'm Paul from Middleton, near Manchester residing with my collection of Ford Sierras, and car parts in my living quarters Well,if I enjoy working on my motors,I can't be avoided. Everytime I try to tidy up,I can never find things so I don't bother
I won't go into my projects on this topic,I'll post it elsewhere on this forum. I stumbled upon this forum whilst doing a google search, converting compression psi to ratio,as my neighbour reckons that it can be done,to avoid the aggro of taking the cylinder head off. But I mentioned that it isn't the correct way, physical measurements are the correct way. My neighbour has very little tolerance

chat to you all later
Paul

Welcome to HMT. Like your neighbor said, a "general" compression ratio can be achieved, if you know the displacement of the cylinder in question, and technically he will never egt the same reading twice, as all parts wear down differently, as you already know
