Default hello from saskatchewan

so i have a 2000 mustang gt and am wondering where to start...forced induction is the way to go and a turbo is far superior to a supercharger in that it uses wasted fuel fumes to provide boost...i am wondering is anyone here done the 4.6 liter engine and where do i begin...i am already running nitrous and thought this would be the next logical step...si are those ebay kits any good...is it a good start as far as head unit and piping and intercooler...any help would be great as i have never built one before...thank you

Welcome to HMT

As far as the ebay kits go, I would stter clear of the generic ebay turbos. Oftenimes they are not guaranteed or warrantied for anything, and are made of far inferior parts. The intercooler+piping kits on the other hand are usually a good deal. Just be sure to inspect the product closely for any damage or poor work.

I once bought some intercooler piping off ebay once from one of the "outlet vendor" type sellers, and it had cracks all over it, and in the welds. So like anything, some parts can be gold and some can be trashed, like most stuff on eBay.

As far as the Mustang goes, I cannot help you out much with that, I haven't messed with them. A good idea would be to check out the site a little, and then throw up a build thread, and possibly a help thread, to seek some of the answers you need
