Default I think I fried my 2.5 bar motorola map sensor....

I unplugged the sensor to reroute the wires in a safer location and when i plugged the sensor in i believe it was backwards. Ever since then the car has ran like crap. I believe the sensor is fried. I checked the wires from the ecu and i got 5v reference, o at ground, and .3 volts from signal wire with engine not running. When the car is started with the motorola map plugged in it idles pertectly for 10-15 seconds then dies. When the stock map is plugged in it idles, and responds to throttle but runs way to rich. Is it a likely fix to replace the motorola map? Is the chipped ecu programmed specifically for the motorola map? any help is greatly appreciated! thanks in advance!

Update. Bought a DIY stock case 2.5 bar map sensor kit from xenocron. After installed the car ran fine. The engine responded to throttle increase, did not run rich. However a few seconds after starting the CEL comes on and the idle increases to about 1100 rpms. Other than the light and the abnormally high idle the car runs perfectly. Anyone have an idea what the problem could be? IAC? any help is appreciated
