I've been lurking for a while and even posted once, but I realized that I had not introduced myself. I live in Oklahoma City. Here's a picture of my first turbo ride. It's a 1990 Chevy Silverado. I've built a two cycle 4-71 Detroit Diesel for it. It's backed by a 10 speed Roadranger overdrive transmission.





I'm actually in the turbo building stage right now. Though these engines were offered with turbos, it's not just a simple bolt on. I'm using a front mounted intercooler, which was never offered. Also, the placement of this turbo is unlike any offered by the factory, so a lot of things have to be modified/adjusted, so it's basically DIY.

I still have a few things to do before getting it on the road; plumb fuel lines, build driveshafts, and several other things.
