Default carb'd k20 track car??

i just got a k20a3 really cheap, and i know where to get a tranny really cheap (i know it's the a3 not the a2 but im not worried about that)
i got a ef hatch i plan to put it in
but it's goin to be a track car so i want to keep it as simple as possible
and i was given a suggestion to just carb it (like the circle track guys do with the 4cyc sprint cars)
well now i cant decide on what kind of carbs to use (i.e. 2 side draft webbers or a generic 4 barrel or some older sport bike carbs off like a gsxr1100 or somethin like that?)

also i don't have much experence with the k series engines so what electronics could i do away with, what do i have to keep? (not worried about vtec i have heard of using a2 cams in the a3 and just using the a3's exhaust rockers on the intake side to and just running the vtec lobe, kinda like vtec killer cams)

the plan of the build is to use a modern engine (the k20a3)
in a really lite shell (ef hatch)
and keep it super simple because it's goin to be a track car (home track is nelson ledges road corse)
