Default XS power information please

okay first of all, I know those turbo kit are pure garbage. but I got the complete setup BRAND NEW for under 200$ its for install on a D16.

I have few question about this..

1- what should I do for help my manifold for not cracking ?? should I install some brace on him ??

2- is my turbo too big for stock internal ?? its a t3/t4 cold side a/r 0.50 hot side a/r 0.63. it look like a monster

3- should I send my turbo to be checked or maybe rebuilded with OEM garret internal ??

thanks all !!

if you have a cast iron or schedule 40 pipe as a turbo manifold you really dont need to worry about bracing. bracing is required for thin walled turbo manifolds.

your turbo is fine for stock internals. i wouldnt exceed 10 lbs of boost. t3/t4 is a perfect turbo for most 4 cylinder applications. any turbo looks big against a honda motor...

if your turbo is a knock off garrett t3/t4 hybrid from china you have a 50% chance it will fail. ive used a few of these turbos and ive had luck with them. for better reliability i would send it to a turbo rebuild shop were they will go through it and balance and remachine it if necessary. most turbo rebuilders start at 500.00.

that xs power stuff is junk. I have seen some of the welds my little sister could do a better job.

you know that xs power stuff is hit or miss there's been a lot of people who have bolted those on and had nothing but good results and those that got screwed, I would go ahead and bolt it up together and then address the issues as they arise
