Default I FAIL Inch vs Metric

I ordered elbows for my Header built and looks like i fail very hard

is
1.33 inch

too small for a 1.8 8valve engine? or is it still OK compared to an oem Flowbrake Header?

I hate it
always reading here about inches not MM

why americans cant use the standart of the rest in the world?
