Default Knife edge compressor wheel?

First of all I have a t28 that I upgraded the compressor and compressor wheel. Im thinking about knife edging the compressor wheel. I can't seem to find any info on doing it. Anyone here done it? Is it even worth the hassle?

any modifications done to a turbo needs to be done by a professional. these things are spinning at 100,000 rpm and higher so any small change can effect the balance and destroy your turbo.

Angle grinder! And just take off the same amounts on each fin... If it looks good it should be balanced.
But really I don't think you'll benefit very much compared to the time and cost of balancing. But if you have access to a good quality lathe, PCD tooling and time to waste go for it.

The turbo is going off to get rebalanced after I did the compressor wheel change.

So you didn't try the whole "knife edging" bit? What turbo was it and what did you swap it with? Stock replacement?
