Just trying to figure out how im going to put a filter on but i need to know what kind of heat im dealing with.

 

what exactly are you trying to say? my compressor housing has always been warm to the touch at its hottest. its 100% safe and recommended to put a filter on the end.

personally, because of my turbo's location, i can not run a filter. the really fine chicken mesh will work fine though. just put it over the inlet and wrap the ends around and clamp it down just like you would a filter.
