i'm new to honda's so be ez on me, i want to know what turbo would be best for 220-230hp for a 1.5L, i just got a civic for daily driver but i want to turbo it. ems and fuel it covered, been messing with turbo my whole life, just new to the d15z1.

i'm ok with full boost around 4k. the harder the pull the better!

a stock block (or head) Z1 aint going to make 230 for more than about a second i would go with a 60/48 T3 (from a turbo Ford 2.3L)

btw i was noticing that Z1 and LS rods are the same legnth...

 

As already stated, that is a big goal to reach. I think you will need more than a magic turbo to get there. Some major tuning with a WB is a must. Internals should be used if you want this as a daily driver and some sort of sleeve reinforcement wouldn't hurt.

i'm on my way to take classes for tunning with efi that is on honda-tech, i don't really care about realiablity yet, i just want to run few times to learn how to tune then imma try like 200 hp for realiablity or drop in another motor. i'm just ------- around right now. i'll set the limits on the d15z1 to prove a few points.
