I saw in a thread that you "ride bikes" did you mean MX or BMX? or MTB or something? (please don't say you're a spandex wearing roadie homosexual (if you are, disregard the homosexual part).

I've ridden BMX for a little more then 8 years now and from the ages of 16-19 I was riding pro flatland for Stolen Bike Co. and got flow from Dans Comp. and Poverty Bikes.

Do any of the rest of you ride bmx?

Yeah, I ride with my spandex suit on the highway. We do long distance riding and all I have to look at is the guy's *** in front of me. Nah, just kidding. I ride motox. I have a 03' Cr250 that has some work done to it. I went to Glamis last weekend, but only got to ride for an hour or so before my friends bike blew up. This weekend will be a different story. Get shitty drunk Friday night out in the desert and wake up and ride all day long. It doesn't get much better than that.

BTW, WTF is a KX500v? I have never heard of a 500v. I have heard of KDX and KX, but no 500v. Is it still a 2 stroke?

I'd kill to ride at Glamis. I got a 92' Banshee (clocked at 107mph even beat a ZX6) and I wanna do a turbo on it so bad. East Coast ATV is right up the street from me and they have a turbo banshee there and its just insane. They're selling the whole setup for $5000. I'd rather build one for $500

 

I told myself I wouldn't buy a street bike until I'm diagnosed with cancer. Both will land me in the same place. :P

 

doc where are you from? I used to go to glamis almost every weekend.

my next project (after my ex coupe) is gonna be a prerunner rex. Extended suspension,custom fiberglass fender flares, turbo mini-me, and honda ATC wheels and paddles (4x100 bolt pattern YEEHAA). I've already got the schematics for the suspension down, i just need to get the $ to start it. I should have it,, and have it up and running before glamis season next year (or at least in time to catch MLK day weekend)
