Ls Turbo?

OK check it I have a 92 Civic HB and I have a 94 LS motor. I want to do a Hybrid Turbo....a T3/T4 Garett, or take a turbo off of a Mitsubishi Starion or Eagle Talon...What do you guys think...I don't have enough money for a Turbo Kit so I want to do a custom turbo setup...what do you think is the best way and if anybody has done this please let me know how it works?

i've said it before and i'll say it again!!!! The only 2 turbo's i would through on any B18 motor would be a Garrett T3 Super 60 or a T3/T4!! NOTHING LESS!!! A mistubishi turbo...

if you like fast spool and loss of power at top end, go for it! but i like my power to be pulling hard all the way to redline!!! even if there is a bit of lag...

would a 2000 subaru wrx turbo work fine.. would this turbo spool fast and last til redline?

on a d-series, probably but a b18 with a stock subaru turbo...i dont think so! those turbo's are small from what i have seen and heard. i'd just stick with a big Garrett/AiResearch!

i got a 2000 subaru turbo its a td04-h pretty dayam big that i've read that stock was set at 14 psi.. but it still wont work

The wrx turbo is small. Yeah, it boosts 14lbs, but the size of it is what matters. 14psi will respond differently in different turbo's. I think the wrx turbo is too small for the wrx. IMO

i agree with greddycrx, i have a 60/63 on my LS and i love it, it pulls hard. anything smaller would be gay as hell on an LS...

ok coo.. and thats sucks cause now i have to sell the turbo i just bought for my ls.. what turbo do yall recommend me finding and off what car so i can boost the ls motor.. its bone stock.. i might just add a blockgaurd and thats it.. and i'm looking for something that can reach 7-9 psi at early like 3000rpm.. what cars have t3's and is there other turbos? thanks
