front mount on an EF civic

did anyone have to delete the front bumper to mount a fmic on a 88-91 civic

do you mean the bumper support? i have to get rid of mine. plus a lot more metal.

you shouldnt have to take the bumper out unless you have a gigantic intercooler. There is limited space though. You will proabably have to do lots of cutting though.

i barely cut anything. go to the rides thread in gen disc. check the yellow crx. all i di dwas beat in some of the cross member a little. didnt trim my bumper support at all. made brackets and bolted it to it actually.
