i got a pm9 that my one buddy gave me he said it was a crx hf ecu , but it runs my dual point 1.5, you got me.it saves on gas, but i get 100mph out of 3rd gear? EXPLAIN THAT!! ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

just gimme some feedback.with some ideas or answers..... hey if it works it works hunh... im also swapping a zc once i put the new rings in it......

yea it flashes code 1 thats all... i just re routed my light in the shifter cupholder area with a LED so if it somes on theres not a annoying yellow light staring you in the eye as you drive down the road.,..

 

what is the code on the side of the ecu

 

PM9 is 88-91 civic STD (standard) hatch back. they are 1.5L DPI and are less horsepower than DX.

there is no way an ECU can make your gearing change.

 

 

Did you just do a motor swap or what? it may feel like your gears are taller if you increase the redline, the HF ecu redlines at what? like 5000rpms. The HF/CX tranny has gears to the damn moon!
