Went to the NHRA finals today. Lisa kubo won again. Steph went to the finals in RWD but crossed the center line and handed the win to some Japanese guy in a 300zx. Angela Proudfoot Brushed the wall. Mike Crawford had the beginnings of a fire at mid track (this dude stopped and ran out of the car faster than anyone I've ever seen) And a guy in an old bug flipped and hit the wall (seemed bad, but I'm pretty sure I saw him walk away) Vinny Ten kicked everyones ***....again. And after the race I stole 4 banners. One k&n, two different summit sport compact series, and a toyo tires.
Last week is was NDRA, this week was NHRA, and in a couple of weeks it's NHRA (BIGBOYS) and Battle of the imports. If anything, going to these events makes me want to ditch the street idea and just put a parachute on my hf. Every time I go to a race it motivates me to spend spend spend and try to kick Shawn Carlson's ***. I love the races

 

Don't forget Durst's 9 sec pass on motor 9.93, for all you naturally asspirated lovers

 

Oh yeah, I forgot. And she won too. Heard Erick Aguilar broke an axle and went home. Alot of talk about erick using ---- he shouldn't be going around. Could he have left early because he knows he has a better chance getting caught when its the NHRA? Someone said he's been caught in the past using bad stuff?? (Things that make you go....hmm)

 

Proably underweight. I'm sure there is more to the story then an axle.

 

She finally made it to the 9's eh? I knew she was close what friday or saturday with a 10.03, just think if like a little asian guy was driving that thing, unlike her big self

I was pretty disappointed with the turbo fwd hondas. Overall most sounded un tuned and were popping down the track. For some of those guys with huge sponsers it makes me wonder what there doing with all that cash. Majority of the cars don't run faster than they did 2 years ago and the track was prepped really well. All motor was bad ***.

 

And she followed up with a 10.01.
I went to Proudfoot's pits after the "brush" and have come to the conclusion that the PETA sticker on the front bumper made her crash. (Damn animal rights wacko's)

 

Did you check out gardella's hb after the crash. The bars in the engine bay saved that car. damage wasn't to bad for how fast they hit the wall at.
