so like the title says i got a free turbo off a friend who got a civic shell was in the trunk haha

anyways its a garret turbo seems to have minimal if any shaft play

was wondering if you guys could help me identify it since im new to turbos and tell me if it would be good to start a kit with or move on and upgrade?
also anyone know what kinda power i could produce and and how quick will it spool i get the feeling it will be redic fast so if this dosent work im looking at a holset
**it will be going on a 93 integra ls 1.8L

hmmm any specs like max hp i could expext out of this or spool times

 

Actually seems like a 1981 Mercedes Turbo Diesel turbo, this turbo are a .42 .48 like the volvo, but with an internal wastegate as part of the hotside, the wastegate of this turbo i believe are set at 8psi.

This is a very nice turbo good for quick boost in your LS engine.

 

hmmm is it going to run out of breath on my engine i really wanna walk some cars be able to produce solid boost i dont want a turbo thats going to run out at the top of my rpms
