Default OPEN TURBO ?

alright so i have pretty much finished my turbo on my civic .. now i just need to drive it about 3 or 4 miles to a muffler shop so i can get my down pipe made .. would it be ok if i drove it that far with no downpipe ? and has anyone done that b4?

yeah youll be ok your under hood temps will be through the roof and you might shoot flames and melt some ---- under the hood. just flat tow it man i would not risk it

ya i wud tow it but umm i am broke as ---- and they charge alot for a tow around here and most the douche bag tow truck drivers wont tow lowered cars

i was talking about just goto harbor freight and get a tow strap and get a friend or someone with a truck to pull it while you steer i used to do that all the time. even a s-10 with a v6 will be able to pull you no problem. i have had my friend flat tow my crx for 25 miles and he had a dakota with a 4 cylinder and it worked just fine

ever heard about small town cops? ya ------ *** holes they'll give u a ticket for having ur shoes un-tied man .. and on top of that im in cali so theyll ------ trip out if they look under the hood .. i mean i can tow my car to my house which is like a mile and a half closer to the shop and do it in the middle of the nite ..

If its not too far, just drive slow as hell all the way there. Stay out of boost.

dude you prolly wont hurt anything. as long as its not shooting right on a coolant pipe or anything. ive ran open for a long time now, mine just shoots right to the ground

well mine shoots behind the rad. and now i have the charge pipes right around there .. maybe if i short shift the hell outta it and have the hood cracked itll be ok .. its like 10min to the shop and its all side streets pretty much

open down pipe is alot different than having no downpipe at all his radiator might just be melted and ---- any wiring or hoses that are around. if its that big of a deal do it at night is what i have always done, or rent a tow dolley from u haul for 50dollars its a decent amount of money for such little use but its still better than having to replace a bunch of fucked up ---- and or paying a tow company

u kno i was kinda thinking about that today getting on of those dollys from uhaul.. butttt none of my friends have a ------ trailer hitch im like wtf .. so i might tow my car to my house in the dead of nite then maybe drive it to the shop which by the way will be like less then 2 miles away
