I have a vitara built d16a6 on15psi. My dx tranny is long as ---- and gives me boost lag. I was woundering how safe/risky would it be to spay a small shot(35,50) with a pressure cut-off swicth so it won't spary after 8psi to get rid of the lag. I do understand that i don't have forge pistons, but i think the low comp. compensates for it. please giv me so input

 

i have seen a few people spray on vitaras without problems but i would probly ask the person thats gonna tune the car.

 

def talk to your tuner or a good tuner about doing this. cause you might have to retune for spray. just take the extra time so you dont have to pay the price later. good luck on this and give us some feedback with what you find out.

 

yea feedback plz if mine dont go as fast as i want ill prolly spray on top of mine as well

 

umm why not just go out and snag a cheap ex/si trans they are pretty much everywhere and can be purchased at a cheaper price....they have definately shorter gears than the dx trans would

 

then its no fun on da highway.... what if a supra wans to play?

MAN! i got the deal of a lifetime when a freind offered to trade an ex tranny for my front lip. i'm gonna try the ex tanny first and see if it make me happy enuf. Im keep given u guys feedback as i try new things

 

maybe dumb question but what rods are you using? stock?

 

they probably are stock.
