Boost it as it sits unless you have engine problems.

I wouldnt raise the compression if you want to boost it on the stock bottom end.

as a rule of thumb you wana lower comp for boost and raise comp for all motor and nitrous applacations.

you should be fine though boosting a stock motor as long as long as you stay kinda on the low boost side i would deff take a look into your injectors see what they put out and invest in a safc

And how the ---- is this even remotely related to fabrication. It isn't ------- rocket science to post in the right section, it's a lot easier than making your own turbo kit. But once through your post can convince anyone you're not ever going to ---- to your car.

How the hell do you plan on "converting" it to DOHC?

the 16v head will bolt onto the ABA block... check out bahnbrenners website for the kit they offer. it has all the required part for the swap. it is not cheep by all meens but the 16v dual cam head swap onto the ABA2.0 with a turbo can push over 400hp. good luck with the swap. also check out vwvortex.com there are forums just for this swap.
