Default Here we go, turbo cfm question

Heres the noob turbo question that im gonna get bashed for but I DID search and couldnt find an answer so here it goes. Does anyone know or have a website with info on on how bigger turbos with more cfm make more power then smaller ones and specifically why/how cfm plays into hp and reliability of the engine (i.e. is there more stress on engine components with more cfm or is psi the number to watch or is it even a concern). Trying to do my first turbo setup (fire away) on a stock b16a2 obd2 and think I have most of it figured out but cant decide on turbo size. 7psi isnt 7psi if the cfm different or so im told and im trying to understand why and how instead of saying tell me what to buy/do it for me. If the questions been answered before then my mistake but I had to ask as I couldnt find it. Thanks in advance for any info or websites with info.
