Well, ripping out the b16 proves to be more difficult than it should be. ONLY BECAUSE THE AXLES WONT BUDGE!!!!! I'm going to take a crowbar to them tommorrow, those bastards will pay.

its called a flat screwdrivcer and they come out.

 

I just changed my clutch yes they are bastards just stick a screw driver to get a little seperation then stick the crow bar in there and pop those bitches out. and your going to have to hammer them in.

Well I got the passenger axle out but not the drivers side. I don;t know what it is it just wont come out. I got the engine out by picking the car up, but I still need to get the axle out somehow.

 

dude, good luck! i had the same problem before, it ended up being that my intermediate shaft was shot, so the heat that i was causing, cause the splines on the end of the axle to expand and get stuck in the intermediate shaft. i ended up having to get a new intermediate shaft and axle.......

 

You might have to beat the living ---- of it if the clip that holds the axle in is broken. Keep beating on it, it'll come out.

When I took my d16 out, the stupid axles were stuck in the hubs, I beat one out with a big hammer, the other we couldn't get out and managed to ruin the wheel bearing in the process, then we needed to take the whole spindle off and get it pressed out. When it finally let go in the press it sounded like someone fired a .357.
