how much boost will max out for d16z6 stock intenal ? if it can't be safely at 7 psi then i guess ill be running Fmu not afc thank

 

10psi using stock internals and turboedit to tune my ignition and fuel.

500 miles on the turbo setup and still going =P

Turboedit... It's an ecu program.

 

you can run AFC with it at 10 psi....

 

The AFC hack is only good till around 12psi and you have to start with 450cc injectors.

The D16Z6 will handle 12 and under very well, but anymore than that and your taking a chance..

8psi would be completey safe and worry free ( more or less ).

Anything less than 6psi is a waste of a turbo IMO.

 

i thought d sereis rods let go at about 10 psi and above?

 

Yes and no... With good tuning no, with no tuning yes..
