Do B series throttle bodies fit on D series intake manifolds. If so, is there any difference in power?

 

i've heard of people using the old integra TB's on the Y8. don't know what year or what the difference i performance would be...

 

Yes they fit but the 88-91 d series mpfi manifolds have a different bolt pattern. Unless you port the manifold I'm talking a real port job 4+ hours you will proably not notice anything.

 

i know they fit 92+ d manifolds (not sure if all models though)not too sure about the 88-91 though

 

What year/model integra's?

 

i fit a 94+ gsr throttle to my z6 im and fit perfect, just portmatch the im and you are good to go.. if that one fits others should be the same..

 

what would the benefits be of using the integra TB? sorry i'm kinda slow.

 

BIGGER = More power

its actually not that much bigger, but the most people notice with larger throttle bodies, is a quicker throttle response and maybe a few hp, but not much. Maybe on a FI setup you would see more gains.

ill try and take a pic of the z6 tb next to a gsr... difference is pretty noticable...

 

does anybody know what years of integra's would fit or does it matter?
