desent torque wench

how much sould i pay for a desent torque wrench and any brands to watch out for

I have a 1/2 Snap on one.. I like it

Beau has a nifty 3/8 torque wrench (snap on) that ------- is all digital and vibrates, lol

I paid like $85 for my torque wrench...it's a european make. Works great and looks nice

I have a peice of ---- "power fist" no name peice of crap that made me brake a caliper bolt when i was doing my brakes. I swear setting it at 36 ft/pound really ment like 90 ft/pounds or something..arrrr!

I'm interested in getting that digital torque wrench that craftsman makes at sears. Anyone have it?

The "digi-torque" at sears is nice, but its like $130. I use a $17.89 one from harbor freight, hasn't screwed me yet. If if feel like your putting 100FT/LBS on something that needs 35, you might wanna get a new one. The only thing I ever torque that needs to right is head bolts/studs, and I just put a metal head gasket and head studs in my civic, so I should need it anymore
