hey guys, just installed a knock off ssqv and the bov does not go off @ 5lbs of boost. i can hear the wastegate whistle because the bov is not gowing off. there is no external adjustment screw but the thing came with a check valve that i didnt install. should i remove the back piece and see if i can adjust the spring or try that check valve?

 

I know someone will say it.... Don't buy cheap parts and you won't run into those issues. You probably could have gotten a 1g DSM BOV that works better for cheaper.

 

is it working or do you think its not working becuase you dont here anything

 

or a brand new saab 93 turbo bov.. 45$ cheap and extremly reliable

sounds like u prob have a boost leak somewhere if ur bov isnt work cuz the ssqv is a simple bov hard to ---- up

 

i would check it out w a vacuum gauge and see if it really is or isn't working. sometimes those ***** can be quiet, especially if you got a bigger turbo

if you have a hand pump you can check it that way. could be binding up.
