oil feed line

Default oil feed line

Just wondering if hightemp/pressure hose that has double clamped fittings would hold up as a oil feed line for a turbo build.

definately.
you gotta worry about the heat thats what the real problem is.

go to a local industrial hose place and bring the turbo and everything for
the fittings. they can make some nice stuff. and if they're nice it'll be cheap.

i use a brake line from autozune and i got the tool for bending the line and just get creative with it no problems so far

just make sure hard lines are anchored properly. Vibrations will induce fatigue cracks.

alright nice. ya i have the bender and cutter for those, did you flare the ends? Thats what im not sure on, is how you would get the fittings to meet with the brake line, and what do you mean by anchored right? Thanks alot

He means make sure the lines are secured so they don't move too much with the movement of the engine. Hard lines aren't designed to flex so if you don't secure them properly and they do flex, then they will crack and spray oil all over, and that sucks.

ok, now how do i connect the hardline to the fittings? Also what size line would be acceptable?

yes you have to put the fitting inside the line then flare it ,im using a dsm turbo and my fitting is a 10 mm not sure the thread side i took my turbo to autozone and asked the guy to let me go where the fitting are and i looked for the right one also i looked for a T fitting and match it with the thread of the oil pressure sensor and the oil line and thats where i got my oil supply (i looked for a while they had them all mixed up)
