Default ls rod swap help!

can anyone help me find a shop or know anyone who can modifiled the ls rods for a d16z6 for the right price?

I have a friend that will modify GSR rods ( in the case that you are doing the Vitara setup), which seem to work a little better, as they raise compression a tad. just pm me, and let me know.

yes i was thinking of a vitara setup but why the gsr rods not the ls ones? can it be also done with ls rods?

Gsr rods are a tad longer. And yes, LS rods can be used. You are aware though, that you have to notch the block right?

Yes the gsr rod length are 137.90mm and the Ls is 137.00mm.

Yes, and you hve to shim the rod, as the wrist pins fit differently.

what is everybody here forgetting the fact that the gsr rod and ls rod are a different width. hence no you can't use the gsr rod on a d crank. it's just to narrow. newbs
