quick question about wbo2 sensor placement
just wondering if i place the wbo2 sensor in the wastegate port, would that be an acceptable place to get AFR's? let me know. i do what accurate #'s but if it wouldnt make much of a difference, it would be a convenient place to put it cause i wouldnt have to jack the car up to get at it.
You should only run it in the down pipe because your wastegate only opens for the exhaust in full boost, so tuning or reading vaccum is impossible.
Having it further down the pipe isn't a problem with reading speed at all, in fact your o2 sensor will last longer if you keep it there.

and place the oxy sens in the actual port in the turbine housing ?
this will work and ive done it... found two things happening though
1) it protruded too far into the housing and cut back much needed flow
(perhaps the fitting could be made to not mount it too deep into the port)
2) it toasted a lot of oxy sens (My turbine gets cherry red from time to time)
its an internally gated turbo so its all one pipe. i found it easier to just put it in where the stock o2 sensor would go cause if i ever wanted to move the wbo2 sensor closer, i would have the narrow o2 sensor to plug up the hole with.
