up for sale is my HP DV1150us. I bought it broken from my cousin last thanksgiving. The battery and hard drive were not working. I got a different hard drive but the battery is still not good. The screen was not working also so i had to replace the lcd inverter on it. I just replaced windows on it with all the upgrades and necessary programs.

1.50 Ghz Intel Celeron
Wireless b/g
80gb hd
1.0 gb ram (upgraded from 512)
Microsoft windows XP home SP3
McAfee anti virus software
Ccleaner
Microsoft office 07 (add 20 bucks)
also has a little remote for controlling windows media (needs new battery i think)

The bad:
The cd drive does not eject with the button, you have to manually do it through windows or use a pin to hit the manual release.
Battery does not hold a charge very long
Charger will need to be replaced, the cord was damaged and i soldered it back up and taped it.(will heat shrink it for more sturdiness.
Two covers missing from the hinges of the laptop screen
one screw cover missing from screen
Wireless light on bottom of screen not working(does not affect anything at all)
top Hp symbol is gone and a sticker use to cover it, sticker was not removed completely

450 for a junked laptop? dude, you can buy better new ones for 400 plus tax.

 

i knew the askign price was too high, 350 obo. laptop runs really good too

 

does it run ok with just the ac cord

 

Whats lowest you could go? Do you know how much a new battery is?

 

$20 bucks and it will become my new engine management system

 

i'll take 200 plus shipping, runs perfect with cord. battery and charger would probably be 100 bucks or so
