Default Cleaning Valves

Is there any chemical that can be used to remove the carbon build up on the valve, especially the exhaust.
Using a knife is tedious.

I've always used the wire wheel on a bench grinder. Works great.

That what did it for me. Was hoping there was a magic chemical that would dissolve all the carbon build up. I just had to use the steel bruch on a drill.

Regards
